What is Le Tour De Langkawi Virtual Ride Challenge?
The Le Tour De Langkawi Virtual Ride Challenge is a virtual event where you can complete your distance anytime and anywhere outdoors between 12:00 AM, 7 October and 11.59 PM, 31 October 2022 (GMT+8).The virtual ride allows you to set your own finishing targets and celebrate the accomplishment of crossing your own finish line.You will need to track your ride through a GPS tracking app or device, and upload your record (GPX / TCX file or screenshots) onto the HeyJom platform. A maximum of 3 submissions of accumulated distance is allowed.

Is it the same event as Le Tour De Langkawi?
No. The Le Tour De Langkawi Virtual Ride Challenge is a virtual cycling campaign organised by PETRONAS Shop.
Where do I need to complete my ride?
The virtual ride offers you the opportunity to participate in a riding experience within your own community space. Ride at your own pace, on your own selected route or look for the fastest loop in your area, all within the campaign period.
When do I need to complete my ride?
You can complete your 40km ride (or more) anytime and anywhere outdoors between 12:00 AM, 7 October and 11:59PM, 31 October 2022 (GMT +8) and submit your record through HeyJom’s website or app by 11.59 pm, 31 October 2022 (GMT+8).
Is there a designated route for the ride?
No, there is no designated route for the ride. You can choose your own route and location. We encourage you to choose a route that is safe and has a strong GPS signal.
Is there an official app for Le Tour De Langkawi Virtual Ride Challenge? Do you recommend using this app to keep track of my ride?
There is no official app for Le Tour De Langkawi Virtual Ride Challenge. This gives you the freedom to use any GPS running device or GPS running app of your choice to track your ride.
When can I register for participation?
You may register to participate for the virtual ride anything between 12:00AM, 7 October and 11:59PM, 31 October on the HeyJom platform (website or mobile app)
Can I enter the challenge by paying a registration fee?
No. Entry into the challenge is free of charge, however it is exclusively for customers who purchase any of the cycling jerseys from PETRONAS Shop throughout the campaign period.
How many entries can I submit?
You may accumulate the distance within three attempts. A maximum of three submissions of results is only allowed onto the HeyJom platform.
Can I complete my ride on a virtual app indoors?
No, you will need to ride outdoors at a location with good GPS signal, as you are required to keep track of your ride through a GPS tracking app or device.
Will there be any insurance coverage for me during the ride?
No, we will not be providing insurance coverage nor will we be responsible for any injury or loss that may arise during or after the course of the challenge.
Do I need to submit proof of purchase to register for the ride?
No, you would not need to submit proof of purchase upon registering as a special unique promo code will be provided to you, to be used on the checkout page on the HeyJom platform.
When will I receive the finisher pack?
The finisher pack consists of a finisher medal and e-cert which will be delivered to you within 90 days from the end date of the campaign, upon complete submission of the challenge criteria, i.e a minimum of 40km within the campaign period.
If I could not finish my ride, can the entitlement still be sent to me?
You will not receive the finisher pack if you do not complete the 40km ride or send in your completed ride results.

Where and when will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced in November 2022 through a random selection based on the fulfilment of above criteria. The announcement will be published on PETRONAS Shop official social media pages.
How do I participate in the ride?
This is how it works:
Purchase
1. Purchase any of PETRONAS Shop’s Cycling Jersey range (https://www.setel.com/PETRONAS-Shop) from 12:00 AM, 5 October to 11:59 PM, 31 October 2022 (GMT +8) to earn 1x free entry.
2. Once you have completed your purchase, allow approximately 3 working days before receiving a link to register with a unique code from PETRONAS Shop via email.
Register
1. After receiving the code, you need to click on the registration link provided to register participation.
2. You will be redirected to HeyJom’s platform to register for the ride challenge.
3. You have to fill in the PETRONAS Shop promo code at HeyJom’s website or app at the checkout page.
Track Your Ride and Submit Your Record
1. You will need to complete the 40km ride (or more) between 12.00 am, 7 October and 11.59 pm, 31 October 2022 (GMT +8).
2. On ride day, set your GPS tracking device or app to record your ride.
3. Follow your device or app instructions to start and stop recording.
4. Complete the minimum 40km distance and go further if you wish, as it will increase your chance of winning any of the prizes worth up to RM20,000.
5. Upon completion of your ride, log in to HeyJom to upload your GPX / TCX file or screenshots of your completed ride- Result must contain distance, time and date (latest submission is by 11.59 pm, 31 October 2022 (GMT +8).
6. A maximum of up to three screenshot submissions is allowed.
7. After your record is submitted, it will be added to the Race Leaderboard, whereby the total accumulated mileage will increase your chance of winning the grand prize.
Celebrate Your Achievement
1. Celebrate and share your achievement on your social media accounts with photos from your ride or a selfie wearing the PETRONAS Shop Cycling Jersey.
2. Use the hashtags #RideWithPETRONASShop, #LTDLVirtualRide, #PETRONASLTDLVirtualRide and #PETRONASShop to inspire others.
3. Grand prize winners will be contacted within 7 November to 21 November 2022.
4. Finisher pack will be delivered to participants who have completed the challenge between November 2022 - December 2022
1.0 Organiser:
1.1 PETRONAS Shop, which is the [retailer of PETRONAS branded merchandise] under Setel Express Sdn Bhd, is the organiser of this “LE TOUR DE LANGKAWI VIRTUAL RIDE” (“Campaign”).
1.2 The following terms and conditions apply in respect of this Campaign. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including any term which may have been amended from time to time, without limitation or qualification.
2.0 Eligibility:
2.1 This Campaign is open to customers who fulfil ALL the below requirements:
(a)Registered PETRONAS Shop members at https://www.setel.com/PETRONAS-Shop; or Setel Mobile Application (“Setel App”) and
(b)Customers holding Malaysian citizenship; and
(c)Customers aged eighteen (18) and above.
Customers who fulfil all the aforementioned requirements shall be hereinafter referred to as “Participant” or “Participants”.
2.2 The following persons are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in the Campaign:
(a) Permanent/Contract employees of Setel Express Sdn Bhd and their immediate family members, specifically their respective fathers, mothers, spouses and children;
(b) Employees of event platform agency for Setel Express Sdn Bhd and their immediate family members, specifically their respective fathers, mothers, spouses, and children; and
(c) partners/business alliances/sponsors and their employees.
2.3 In the event a Participant is found to be ineligible at any point of time during or after the Campaign Period as stated below, PETRONAS Shop reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify the said Participant and to cancel/withdraw/recall any prize won by the Participant. If the said Participant has used or enjoyed the prize, the Participant agrees and undertakes to indemnify PETRONAS Shop for the costs of such prize and PETRONAS Shop shall have the right to initiatry any action it deems necessary against the said Participant.

4.0 Campaign Period:
4.1 Unless otherwise notified by Petronas Shop, the Campaign will be conducted from 10 October 2022 – 15 November 2022 (“Campaign Period”), both dates inclusive.
4.2 Purchase of any PETRONAS Cycling Jersey during the Campaign Period in order for Participant(s) to register for the virtual ride challenge. Only completed challenge will qualify for the prize(s)
5.0 Campaign Mechanics:
5.1 Participants are required to purchase any PETRONAS Cycling Jersey range during the Campaign Period online https://www.setel.com/PETRONAS-Shop or offline at Le Tour De Langkawi (LTDL) booths and register their entry on HeyJom platform:
Entry Criteria - One (1) purchase from PRYSM’s Cycling Jersey range on PETRONAS Shop’s website is eligible for one (1) entry of Virtual Ride participation on HeyJom’s platform
5.2 Participants who successfully purchased One (1) PETRONAS Cycling Jersey will be provided with a promo code and a registration link from PETRONAS Shop after transaction via email.
5.3 Participants will then need to click on the registration link that will be redirected to the HeyJom event platform.
5.4 Le Tour De Langkawi Virtual Ride event should be selected for registration and promo code provided is to be used at the checkout page
5.5 After registration, participants can start accumulating their mileage between 10 October 2022 - 31 October 2022. A total of 40 km is required for a completed challenge. Participants will need to track using any GPS tracking app and a screenshot containing the distance, time and date is required for submission.
5.6 Submissions of challenge should be made to the HeyJom event platform and only a maximum of three (3) submissions of mileage is allowed.
5.7 Participants are required to ensure that the virtual ride challenge is registered under their own name with a valid NRIC number. Participants who do not meet these requirements will be disqualified and will not be eligible to be in the running for the Campaign Prizes.
5.8 At the end of the Campaign Period, winners will be selected based on the leaderboard metrics from HeyJom Platform. No enquiries on winner's selection will be entertained.
5.9 The winners will be contacted by PETRONAS Shop and verification will be conducted to qualify them to win their prizes.
5.10 Each Participant will only be entitled to win one (1) prize throughout the Campaign Period.
Grand Prize
a) All entries recorded throughout the Campaign Period that meet the challenge criteria together with its respective number of entries will automatically qualify for the Grand Prize at the end of the Campaign Period.
b) Winners for the Grand Prize will be selected once the Campaign Period has ended and will be contacted between 7 November 2022 to 20 November 2022
c) The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to this campaign shall be final and binding. No correspondence relating to the selection of the winners will be entertained.
d) Prize(s) is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable , whether in cash part or full, gift or packages-in-kind.
e) The winner shall be responsible for any personal income tax obligation and cost arising as a result of receiving this prize, if any.
6.0 Miscellaneous:
6.1 The winners will be contacted via email from petronas.shop@setel.com
6.2 In the event that PETRONAS Shop contacts the winner and does not receive a response within 1 week, PETRONAS Shop will send out another email within the following day. Where such attempts are unsuccessful, PETRONAS Shop hereby reserves the right to select the next potential winner where the same process of selecting the winner will be repeated until a winner is identified.
6.3 The prize(s) will be presented to the respective winner at the Le Tour De Langkawi Virtual Ride event within three (3) months upon notification of the winner on PETRONAS Shop website or through any other means as notified by PETRONAS Shop. The winners will be required to fill in a declaration form. In the event of delay with regard to the fulfilment of prizes(s), PETRONAS Shop will communicate this to the winners.
6.4 All winners shall be bound by any further terms and conditions as determined by PETRONAS Shop at its sole discretion.
6.5 PETRONAS Shop reserves the right at any time at its absolute discretion, without prior notice, to substitute any of the prizes with other items of similar or higher value.
6.6 By entering or participating in the Campaign, Participants hereby fully and unconditionally agree and accept all of the terms and conditions herein contained and agree that the decisions of PETRONAS Shop regarding the Campaign and all matters relating to or in connection thereto are final and binding and no such queries, appeals or correspondences will be entertained.
6.7 Non-compliance by the Participants and/or winners with any of the terms and conditions herein contained shall entitle Petronas Shop to disqualify any entry and/or revoke any prizes awarded.
6.8 PETRONAS Shop reserves the right to cancel, shorten, extend, suspend, or terminate the Campaign at any time prior to the expiry of the Campaign Period without prior notice to Participants. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, extension, suspension or termination of the Campaign at any time prior to the expiry of the Campaign Period shall not entitle the Participants to claim any compensation from PETRONAS Shop for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Participants as a result of the said cancellation, extension, suspension or termination. PETRONAS Shop also reserves the right to amend, modify, delete, or change any of the terms and conditions herein contained at any time at its absolute discretion without prior notice. Continued participation in the Campaign following any such changes and/or amendments shall constitute the Participant(s) unconditional acknowledgment, understanding, agreement and acceptance of such changes in respect of the terms and conditions
6.9 PETRONAS Shop reserves the right to use the names, addresses, photographs, information and documents of the Participants and/or winners as materials in advertisements and other form of publicity for the current and future marketing purposes from time to time without prior notice to the Participants and/or winners and the Participants and winners shall not claim ownership of the material. Participation of the Participants in the Campaign constitutes their consent to such use, without further notice, payment, or consideration.
6.10 PETRONAS Shop shall not be held responsible or liable for any claims of loss or damage to property or personal injury or loss of life by the Participants, winners and/or any party resulting from or arising out of or in connection with this Campaign or the Prizes given under this Campaign.
6.11 The Organiser may require the Participants to publish promotional activities of PETRONAS Shop on the Participant’s social media accounts. By accepting the terms and conditions of this Campaign, the Participants agree to accommodate such requests made by the Organiser.
6.12 These terms and conditions prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any brochure or other promotional materials advertised under this Campaign.
6.13 PETRONAS Shop is the final authority to decide on the interpretation of these terms and conditions and as to any other matters relating to this Campaign.
7.0 Personal Data
7.1 By participating in the Campaign, Participants are deemed to have agreed and consented to the collection, processing, use, disclosure and retention by PETRONAS Shop of their personal data in the manner as set out in the Personal Data Notice given pursuant to Section 7 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, which can be viewed at www.mymesra.com.my/pdpa
